I offer a free consultation in the form of a video call or an exchange of messages to determine if I am the right fit for working with you on your writing project based on your specific needs. The services I offer are:

• Story Coaching: As a story coach, I typically assists you in the planing phase before you undertake a major writing project, such as a novel or a screenplay. A large portion of this work usually consists of plotting to provide you with a detailed outline, which will inform your writing and keep you going. Yet we’ll also examine and define your cast of characters, the story arc, the narrative voice and inner structure of chapters or episodes, pacing, consistency and clarity, as well as the theme. We can also discuss length and word count considerations for your specific genre and market. If you’re unsure how to realize your idea or don’t know how to take it further, we can talk story coaching.
• Developmental Editing: Similarly to story coaching, we’ll look at plot, characters, structure, arc, setting, flow and pacing, consistency, theme, and even word count and length also. Yet this approach is best if you have already done a significant portion of the work yourself, and have completed an outline, or are already well into writing your manuscript. As a developmental editor, I can assess your story idea, outline, and output so far. A typical collaborative situation is with writers who have begun their journey with an outline, but now feel stuck in the meat and bones of their own story. We’ll get you unstuck and see that you’re making the necessary changes to benefit your story.
• Ghostwriting: I can produce pages for you if you don’t have the capacity to work on your story or idea yourself.
