Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to secure funding from government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making organizations.
THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
ONE YEAR OF SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY
Duties:
– Research, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals
– Manage the complete lifecycle of the grant application process
– Collaborate with program staff to identify funding needs
– Edit and proofread proposals to ensure clarity and compliance with grant requirements
– Develop and maintain a grants calendar to track submissions and deadlines
– Conduct prospect research to identify new funding opportunities
– Assist in contract management related to awarded grants
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in grant writing, technical writing, or a related field
– Strong research skills with the ability to gather and synthesize information effectively
– Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
– Ability to strategize, plan, and execute grant applications successfully
– Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising software is a plus
-Must have worked at a supervisory level in writing and reviewing federal and state grants.
– Knowledge of program development and strategic planning concepts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,569.00 per year
