Samira Khan is a freelance writer and full time media professional from Pakistan with a degree of M.Phil. in Communication Studies and approximately 15 years of experience in her professional field. She is a professional researcher, writer, content producer, translator and voice artist for radio, film, TV, advertisements and digital media, visiting lecturer of screenwriting for TV and also an experienced mother of 1 year old twins, boy and girl, for writing parenting articles. She is fluent in Urdu and English, two other languages of her country and knows basic Arabic also. Apart from writing, she is keen on travelling, art & architecture, fashion, basic photography, and vocal about topics like parenting, human (especially children and minority) rights and selective socio political issues of her country. She also does creative/fiction writing in both Urdu and English and her favorite genres are humor, action, thrill, suspense and social issues. Recently she has started writing for digital media, as writer for a Pakistani renowned YouTube channel "MangoBaaz" (based on funny videos) and as feature writer for a parenting site Moms.com. She has also worked as Urdu/English translator for an American film "Without Shepherd" (shot in Pakistan - 2010) and currently for an international translation company working in Pakistan.
