HOWARD DAVIDSON
About Writer
I am a versatile, creative and highly professional script, corporate and ghost writer/editor, with a degree in English: Creative Writing, and 15 years of subsequent experience.
I started out in television, gaining BAFTA award nominations for shows including Horrible Histories, and now write for a wide range of corporate and creative clients. This work includes scriptwriting brand explainers and You Tube videos, honing website and company copy, and editing and ghost-writing webinars, masterclasses and podcasts. Last year I even wrote a full graphic novel, as an origin story for a US pet care company’s brand character.
I love the variety this work brings. I am almost fully remote, but whilst I’m based in London, I work with people all over the world, across Europe, North America and Australia. Although writing is a solo pursuit, it’s usually part of a collaborative effort: having spent many years as a TV creative, working across large, multi-disciplinary teams, I enjoy working with people as much as I do ideas, and love helping clients find the right way to tell their story, or sell their product, brand or concept. I’ve written across dozens of different niches and about many different subjects, and genuinely enjoy learning new things.
Away from work I love music, football, food, walking, travel and…writing! My critically-acclaimed debut novel Don’t Worry, Everything Is Going To Be Amazing was published in 2020 under the pen name Billy Moran, and on the non-fiction side, 50 Shades of Gravy: The Cookbook (by IM Pliant) was a bestseller.
