Your writing is more powerful outside your head.

“90 percent perfect and shared with the world always changes more lives than 100 percent perfect and stuck in your head.” – Jon Acuff

The interview with Ann Handley is live! 🎉

She’s a Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Chief Content Officer, LinkedIn Influencer, keynote speaker, mom, dog person, and writer.

“I made like 5 cents an hour… but! The Cokes were free! For the whole staff – whenever you wanted!”

Read the full interview to learn how she started writing, what it’s like to write in a cafe, and why everyone should read Charlotte’s Web.

⭐️ The “Easy Button” for Content Writing

Jasper is the most advanced AI copywriting tool in the world.

Do you ever wish there was an easier way to produce content every day?

Like an "easy button" you could push and out comes a well-written Facebook post 1 second later.

Better yet, if that "easy button" pumped out all sorts of high-converting marketing copy and content like ads, landing pages, emails, and more...

Sounds nice, right?

Well, now that dream is a reality.

Writing Tip of the Week

🌿 How to update content. This week’s tip comes from Steven Macdonald.

He edited 4 articles and increased traffic by 5,963 visits.

First, let’s identify content that needs updating:

  1. Go to Google Analytics and click Behaviour > Site Content > All Pages
  2. Filter pages by Blog (use the search field)
  3. Choose a date range from Jan 1, 2022 to Oct 31, 2022 and compare it to the previous year

3 specific tactics 👇

  • Ask colleagues for their opinion
  • Answer PAA questions from Google
  • Include links to 5 relevant articles

Updating existing content can generate 7X more visits than new content.

Food for Thought

“The accumulation of information isn’t learning. Lots of people have heads full of information they don’t know what to do with.” – Benjamin Hardy

“The late literary giant Saul Bellow would call someone with the ability to spot important details among noise a ‘first-class noticer.’ This is a key difference between those who learn more quickly than others.” – Shane Snow

“Money is like gasoline during a road trip. You don’t want to run out of gas on your trip, but you’re not doing a tour of gas stations.” – Tim O’Reilly
