About the Role
As a primary YouTube script writer, you will be responsible for researching a particular brief, outlining a summary and writing the script. You should be quick to respond, receptive to constructive feedback and be able to learn quickly. Relevant adjacent writing is acceptable such as online writing, social media and other forms of video entertainment scriptwriting.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Research related to video brief (Motorsports, sports)
- Verification of facts from reputable sources, including opinions and conspiracies that are wildly held by fans
- Content Outline and Planning
- Provide brief, context and associated inputs to Video Editing
What You Bring to the Party
- Fluent in English (English is your first language)
- EXTREME ATTENTION TO DETAILS
- Quick at responding
- Receptive to constructive feedback
- Be a quick learner
- Be able to use The Google Suite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc

Compensation: Part-time/Freelance – $300 USD / video script. Payment via PayPal.
What to Expect in the Hiring Process
- Submit a link or send 2-3 examples ONLY of your best and most entertaining online written content.
- Your content will be reviewed. If successful, you will be given a topic and writing exercise (To write a short script outline and engaging summary/lead-in to a video).
- You may be asked to write multiple segments of a video script. Each will be compensated at $30 USD / segment
- If you are successful, we will offer consistent long term script work for our channels in motorsports/sports
