Job Description

The role of the Editor is a critical one in our team’s ability to tell stories. You are required to possess an exceptional level of both technical and creative abilities to be able to effectively create the vision creatives and clients have in mind for both original and adapted assets. Lead creative composition of moving visuals and motion graphics to tell a story with minimal supervision. Work alongside creative teams and producers to create original video content and commercials. Work alongside creative teams and producers to adapt and localise international commercials/content for various platforms with assets for social platforms being a key requirement. Must be able to edit without storyboards or provide your own interpretation of an offline edit. Deliver projects to a high standard within specified time frames. Offer diverse film and music references. Export, compress and re-format video files. Stay up to date with current moving image trends. Showcases craft and creativity throughout production process and across platforms. Advises on edits and supports wider post-production team. Ability to pro-actively anticipate obstacles and create edit solutions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments. You have a positive attitude and a passion to make a difference. Qualifications: Qualifications in Media or Film from technical college / university. Minimum of 5 years as an editor for short-form commercials and/or content. Adept with Premiere Pro and experienced with the full Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator. Compelling portfolio of work. Understanding of encoding/transcoding, codecs, video formats, file types, frame rates, resolutions. Excellent communication skills. Additional Information: We are the future of creative production.
