The Opportunity

We are hiring a UX WRITER to our PARTNERS team in PORTUGAL or BRAZIL! 

The UX Writing team is pivotal in crafting the words and messages that guide users, clients, and partners through Gympass products and internal operation services. From error messages to onboarding flows, our team designs communication solutions to guide and engage, simplifying complex concepts and championing consistency.

Your Impact

  • Be the voice of UX Writing on our Partners' communication and Corp Tech interfaces within the Product Team, explaining your rationale to developers, product designers, and product managers. Use creative thinking to approach problems innovatively, always focusing on collaboration and research.
  • Turn complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling copy based on the product voice, considering readability, and information architecture, among other things.
  • Write interface copy for Gympass products. Your work can include writing or supporting the content design of headlines, body copy calls to action, navigation labels, error messages, onboarding flows, FAQs, and transactional emails.
  • Be interested in accessibility rules and investigate how to apply them in your own copy.
  • Be confident of your UX knowledge and always be willing to improve. Approach conversations about usability, accessibility, and research. You understand that writing is just a small part of the job.
  • Be proactive and prioritize your own workload. Feel confident to make decisions and lead initiatives
  • Interested in data storytelling and concepts definition.

Who You Are

  • An outstanding communicator, that doesn’t need a lot of words or jargons to make a point understandable.
  • A continuous learner of new UX trends and research. You can’t stop listening to that Monday morning podcast, and you engage in conversations about these topics like a person who just met their first love
  • Experience in UX writing, content strategy, technical writing, or any writing field that focuses on User Experience (not Marketing or Advertising)
  • Demonstrate analytical and focused problem-solving skills, and the ability to recommend development recommendations based on usability tests
  • Passionate about data visualization
  • Excellent communication skill is a must. You must be able to articulate ideas clearly when speaking in English
  • Is always looking for new ways of improving the team operations and processes
  • Owner of a UX writing portfolio with some case studies - websites, chatbots, apps, or games - is a plus

PAID TIME OFF: We know how important it is to take time away from work to recharge. Employees receive a minimum of 25 days paid holiday per year with an additional day for each year of tenure (up to 5) in addition to annual holidays (including an extra holiday on your birthday!).

PARENTAL LEAVE: 100% paid parental leave of 12 weeks to all new parents (of both biological and adopted children, regardless of gender and parent's relationship with the co-parent) + 100% paid birth leave of 14 weeks.
