We are a global and multidisciplinary team of 20+ designers, researchers, writers and in-app/email communication specialists with a mission to reduce the complexity of sustainable supply chain management down to the right balance of flexibility, power, and ease of use, guiding all companies toward a sustainable world. We are responsible for Ecovadis’ end-to-end multi-product platform experience that also includes integration with 3rd party platforms such as Tableau, etc.

About the Role

As a UX Writer at Ecovadis, you’ll create clear, concise on-brand content that guides users through the interface, reduces friction and nudges them to take action.

You will be responsible for:

  • Content creation: Craft user-centered microcopy, tooltips, error messages, and other interface text; develop in-app guides that drive adoption and engagement;
  • Content strategy: Develop and maintain a consistent and user-friendly tone across all touchpoints within the product;
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, ensuring everyone has access to the latest content guidelines to build consistency and cohesion at scale;
  • User research: Conduct user research to gather insights into user behaviors, pain points, and preferences, Use research findings to inform and iterate on content strategies, ensuring alignment with user expectations;
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, localization, and engineering, to ensure that UX writing is integrated seamlessly into the product development process;
  • Accessibility and inclusivity: Champion accessibility and inclusivity in design, considering diverse user needs and ensuring compliance with relevant accessibility standards and guidelines;
  • Scope: Develop and execute against both short and long-term roadmaps and ability to balance great design solutions with an iterative approach (v1, v2, or v3);
  • Ideal, but not required: Measure, monitor, and translate product performance results into actionable design improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience: 3+ years of experience as a UX writer, content strategist, or a similar role, preferably in the product teams;
  • Product thinking: Consider the entire product experience, balancing business and user needs and constraints to find the best product-solution fit;
  • Content system: Fluency in platform-specific copy conventions (eg. interface, email);
  • Exploration and convergent ideation: Quickly explore options and choices to find the best possible answer to a given situation;
  • Collaborative skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-department teams (Eg. Marketing, Product communications);
  • User-centric approach: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to advocate for the user in the product development process;
  • Resilience and ownership: Comfortable working through ambiguity, taking ownership of identifying problems and creating solutions;
  • Curiosity and agility: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes and elevate the overall output;
  • Self-driven: Proactive in seeking opportunities to learn and grow professionally;
  • English proficiency: Can easily explain complex concepts to various teams and stakeholders;
  • Ideal, but not required: Have prior experience working on B2B, SaaS products.
