What you’ll be doing…

Are you passionate about style, obsessed with good, editorially savvy and results-driven? We are looking for a UK Editor to join one of our most important brands, Livingetc, the media brand that focuses on the now and the next in interiors and decor.. Our mission across our various platforms is to unlock the world of design for all homeowners, providing engaging design, shopping and home advice. Because of our website’s global nature, we need to strive to ensure that this audience is served with relevant, local content. Our newly-appointed UK editor will be responsible for ensuring that UK visitors have a truly best-in-class experience.

To build the number of UK visitors on Livingetc and ensure that visitors have a truly authentic UK experience. Working closely with the editor and other senior managers, the job holder will be responsible for boosting engagement and audience size by delivering a content strategy for UK-facing content and executing it rigorously.

The job holder will work with key stakeholders to create an annual content plan, which is tasked with delivering a mix of content that meets the business objectives – growing evergreen audiences and optimising content for Discover traffic. They will also curate a homepage experience for UK visitors on a daily basis. They will commission and create original content as well as create specific content on other platforms, in particular email.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

  • Experience of relevant website editing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong visual sensibilities; commercial-first mindset combined with editorial nous.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills
  • Understanding of and interest in the homes/interiors industry you are able to evidence
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, be focused on goals with a sense of urgency, self-guidance and ability to quickly turn an idea into a final product.
  • Collaborative team player, with a resourceful can-do attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilient, hard working and committed
