Technical Writer – Optimy.ai 

Optimy.ai is expanding, and we’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for our Sales-focused e-commerce platform within the automotive industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with visionary technology entrepreneurs, transform complex information into clear and user-friendly content, support client understanding, and contribute to the enhancement of our digital solutions.

 Kognitive Tech Inc. is a Sales Tech company that was founded in 2006 and was created to help clients increase sales revenue and profitability while providing world-class customer service. Our eCommerce division, Optimy.ai offers businesses a video chat tool, Optimy, that is the first eCommerce plug-in that allows for a live video chat conversation within the customer’s web browser that is 100% private & secure. The video chat function lets businesses interact with customers and sell products online, just like they would in-store, increasing conversion rates from site visits to sales revenue 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Write, edit, and organize clear, concise, and comprehensive technical content for new and existing software features. 
  • Create and update detailed API documentation to assist developers in understanding and utilizing our APIs effectively. 
  • Structure and organize documentation hierarchically to enhance user experience, making information easily accessible for both technical and non-technical users. 
  • Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate, complete documentation. 
  • Edit and review documentation to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency across all technical content. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills. 
  • Familiarity with Git and content management solutions. 
  • Experience writing documentation for projects based on JavaScript (JS), PHP, SQL, and Python. 
  • Experience creating detailed API documentation for a developer audience. 
  • Familiarity with the Agile development process. 
  • Experience using software or hardware systems via direct experimentation (e.g., reading and running code).
