Job Description

In the digital age, content rules.

More people are now involved in creating and distributing content than ever before. We have all become the media, the media has been marginalized, and brands are now broadcasters.

Everyone has a story to tell or something to sell. A need to create and connect, post and publish, showcase and share.

So, say hello to Strapi! We exist to fuel the world’s creativity and productivity by unleashing the power of content.

Beyond a headless CMS, we are building an open composable content platform. Infinite customization capabilities, the largest open-source community, and a broad open ecosystem.

🙏🏾 Why your role is important at Strapi

Are you a developer who is passionate about writing and sharing knowledge?

A Strapi enthusiast who’d like to help the Strapi community by writing documentation content read by thousands of monthly readers?

The Documentation team at Strapi is looking to hire a Technical Writer intern for a 6-month internship in a fully remote environment.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to improve your technical writing skills under the supervision of our Lead Technical Writer, work closely with our Documentation Product Manager, and regularly collaborate with many Strapiers among the Product, Engineering, User Success, and Marketing teams.

By doing so, you will help shape the open-source Strapi documentation tools and content, interact with our community, and help our users achieve their goals by increasing their Strapi knowledge while you will gain some solid technical writing and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced startup.

The right person for this role will have some prior experience in JavaScript web development, basic knowledge of the Strapi products, and a strong willingness to learn more about: writing technical documentation, working in an Agile/Scrum setup, and helping Strapi users with a solution-oriented mindset.
