  • Write, edit, and refine technical proposals, reports, and documentation related to environmental projects and compliance initiatives for the Department of Energy, NASA, and the Department of Defense.
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists, project managers, and compliance specialists to ensure accurate representation of our capabilities and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Analyze and interpret federal solicitations and environmental regulations to guide the development of compliant and persuasive proposal content.
  • Manage documentation projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain and update a library of technical documentation, including standard templates, project summaries, and compliance guidelines.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in environmental compliance and technical writing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of technical writing experience, preferably with exposure to environmental compliance and federal contracting.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documents, proposals, and reports.
  • Deep understanding of environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and sustainability practices.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing deadlines and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with documentation software.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
