Job Description:-

At Innodata, we’re working on the next generation of GenAI technologies. Join a team of subject matter experts, language experts, linguists, and AI engineers working closely with the largest tech companies in the world at the forefront of GenAI innovation.

There’s nothing more cutting-edge than this.

Part of this role involves training models to detect and moderate texts that include violence, racism, sexual exploitation, and other harmful content. So, while this is important work, it requires work with triggering content on a day-to-day basis.

If you have excellent writing skills (Master or PhD in English and another language or Linguistics, preferred), know (and care deeply about) nuances in language use, and someday want to be able to tell your kids/grandkids/pets how you helped build <secret> (think ChatGPT… on steroids), let’s have a conversation.

You will be an integral member of a global team shaping a high-quality, user-centric AI knowledge model that will be the foundation for an entire next generation of technology user experiences.

Education and Abilities:-

· Excellent writing skills

· Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and semantics

· Advanced degree in English and another language (Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred, but exceptional candidates with Bachelor’s degrees are welcomed to apply

· Ability to edit and improve technical communication across a wide variety of technical fields

· Creative thinker

· Strong attention to detail

· Well-honed internet research skills

· Ability to embrace diverse teams

· Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with the agility to adjust to evolving guidelines and fluid priorities

Tell Me More

As a Language Specialist on our GenAI team, you will be joining a truly global team of subject matter experts across a wide variety of disciplines and AI engineers and will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities. This will include:

· Creating training data sets for AI models that will help improve its accuracy, fluency, coherence and/or voice

· Annotating data to help AI models align with human values

· Analyzing and improving the grammar, syntax, and sentence structure of both expert-generated training data and AI model-generated text to ensure it adheres to linguistic rules and conventions.

· Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, researchers, and software engineers, to refine and iterate on the AI models.

· Contributing to evolving specifications for AI-model training and data recipes.

· Navigating a dynamic environment and adapting to shifting guidelines and flexible priorities.

· Achieve target KPIs, including daily job count, average handle time per job, and specified production hours.
