Are you passionate about creating high-quality documentation that enhances user experience? Are you skilled in breaking down complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the overall success of our products and services. As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in producing top-notch documentation that supports our industry-leading Learning Management System (LMS) and empowers our users.

What you’ll do:

  • Create high-quality documentation that adheres to industry standards and effectively addresses the needs of the target audience.

  • Conduct comprehensive research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline, write, and refine content based on project specifications.

  • Engage with subject matter experts to deepen understanding of software products and enhance technical expertise.

  • Partner with Product, Development, L&D, and Support teams to document new features, enhance existing content, and empower users to succeed with our comprehensive software stack.

  • Evaluate documentation repositories, streamline editing processes, and implement optimal solutions for centralized storage and easy accessibility.

  • Gather insights from experts to develop, organize, and write clear procedure manuals, technical specifications, and detailed process documentation.

  • Actively participate in projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives and troubleshoot documentation-related challenges.

  • Craft engaging how-to guides, tutorials, user manuals, and other resources for our external knowledge base, ensuring user-friendly navigation.

  • Apply and refine the Client’s minimalist writing style to maintain consistency across all documentation.

  • Educate and influence product teams on best practices and standard methodologies for documentation processes.

  • Design, implement, and maintain information architecture templates that align with organizational standards and enhance content structure.

  • Compose, edit, and maintain content for release notes and publication materials, ensuring timely and accurate communication.

  • Contribute to and uphold the established style guide and tone of voice to ensure brand consistency in all documentation.

  • Implement and facilitate a robust document versioning strategy to effectively manage content updates and revisions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of technical writing.

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with software development processes.

  • Hold a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • Possess experience working with or knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment (desirable).

  • Exhibit excellent written English skills, including impeccable grammar and proficiency in technical writing style.

  • Thrive independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and flexibility.

  • Possess the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them in clear, concise text and visual illustrations.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using a diverse range of documentation tools and platforms.

  • Excel in collaborative efforts, seamlessly working across teams and transcending departmental boundaries.

  • Effectively contribute to cross-functional teams with diverse goals and perspectives.

  • Possess creative aptitude in utilizing photographs, drawings, diagrams, animations, and charts to enhance users’ comprehension of technical concepts.

  • Demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

  • Exhibit strong capabilities in understanding, explaining, and simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Possess expertise in documentation publishing software, including but not limited to Zendesk Guide, Confluence, and similar tools.

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and its applications for documentation tasks.
