About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and engaging documentation that supports our products, engineering teams, and end-users. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for a variety of audiences.

If you have a knack for simplifying technical jargon and enjoy crafting documentation that enhances user understanding and product usability, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including:
• User guides
• API documentation
• Developer guides
• Release notes
• Internal process documentation
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand new features and technical implementations
• Interview subject matter experts (SMEs) and attend development meetings to gather information and ensure technical accuracy
• Develop content that meets the needs of different target audiences, from developers to non-technical users
• Structure documentation logically to ensure clarity, flow, and usability
• Use tools like Markdown, Swagger/OpenAPI, or documentation platforms like Confluence, GitBook, or Docusaurus
• Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and formatting standard across all documentation
• Review and edit content created by team members or contributors
• Monitor product updates and proactively update documentation to reflect changes

Requirements:

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Technical Writer in a tech-focused company or product-driven environment
• Strong understanding of technical concepts in software development, APIs, cloud platforms, or SaaS products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar, clarity, and tone
• Experience with writing for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as:
• Markdown, HTML/CSS
• Git/GitHub
• Confluence, Notion, or similar
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical topics and explain them in simple terms
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with engineering or DevOps teams
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, or API Blueprint
• Experience in UI/UX writing or product copywriting
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python)
• Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
