Job Description
About the role: You will be responsible for composing, editing and revising a variety of written and visual communication materials in support of the MAGMA initiative. Will have the opportunity to collaborate with different stakeholders, SME’s, engineers, and management globally to develop technical documents.Â
Also, You Will
- Manage documentation projects, starting from initial planning through writing and editing, reviewing and revising to final delivery of content
- Identify, develop, and maintain required manuals, training materials and documentation to support publication of MAGMA documents
- Develop original content in compliance with company guidelines, procedures and policies to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the documentation deliverables
- Develop document content that is suitable to the intended audience and for executive communications
- Conduct review sessions with proper individuals to collect feedback and make necessary revisions prior to document release
- Identify and implement process improvements for document creation and maintenance.
Travel Requirements
In this role you will work remotely on Eastern Standard time. For the first 6-9 months traveling significantly (up to 40%) to Perrysburg, OH and Streator, IL piloting technology and replication efforts. Additional travel to other locations as needed.
Qualifications
About you:
- You love glass and care about sustainability and the planet
- You're a good team player.
- You have bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
- Experience composing visual and written documentation targeting both business and technical audiences.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office 365
- Background in Technical Writing, Teaching, English, Communications, Instructional Design, or related field.
