Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Technical Writer with a strong background in REST APIs and a deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to crafting world-class documentation and tutorials that empower businesses to build on our platform. If you have a knack for breaking down complex technical concepts and translating them into clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation and guides, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update detailed API documentation ensuring that it aligns with the needs of developers and is easy to understand.
  • Develop step-by-step tutorials and guides to help businesses leverage our APIs effectively.
  • Work closely with our product and development teams to gather information about our APIs and provide feedback on how the API structure can be improved.
  • Utilize tools such as Swagger, Postman, and other relevant software to test, document, and present our APIs.
  • Regularly review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
  • Act as a bridge between the developers and the product team, ensuring that the documentation is both technically accurate and user-friendly.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in technical writing, API documentation, and blockchain technologies.
  • Research, Write, Revise, Repeat

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical writer, with a focus on API documentation.
  • Familiar with blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts, like wallets, addresses, transactions etc.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, cryptocurrency, blockchain, wallets, and related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with documentation tools like Swagger, Postman, readme, and others.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • A genuine love for writing and a passion for producing top-notch documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to gathering information and understanding technical challenges.
  • Openness to receiving feedback and continuously refining documentation based on feedback.
