Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Source Reliable News: Gather news from reputable sources such as established newspapers, news agencies, official press releases, and credible online news outlets. Cross-reference information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Comply with Copyright Laws by obtaining permission to use images that are licensed for commercial use to avoid copyright infringement. Provide proper reference in documentation for images and content sourced from other sites and publications.
• Create error free news items in your own words to avoid plagiarism. Ensure that the content is clear, concise, and adheres to journalistic standards.
• Publish and Promote articles and news items for web publishing, including proper HTML formatting, meta tags, and metadata. Upload the news items to our website and share the news on social media platforms.
• Write articles for magazine as per editorial requirement and briefing, other content as required and edit content in reports and presentations, including correcting grammar, refining language, and enhancing visual elements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant work experience
• Diploma/Degree in media related discipline
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and able to handle multiple projects on tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Photoshop, PowerPoint, Adobe, WordPress or other media editing software.
