What you’ll be doing…

TechRadar exists for one simple, singular purpose: to help our readers buy, enjoy and enhance the tech they love. We’re one of the biggest tech sites in the world, and we’re on the lookout for someone to join and help amplify our world-class VPN, digital privacy and security coverage.  

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of reporting on the latest in VPN, cybersecurity, and privacy news for TechRadar. You’ll have the opportunity to craft engaging and informative content that keeps our readers on the cutting edge, from how-tos and explainers to opinion pieces, buying guides, reviews, and deals. Your creativity will shine as you develop fresh angles and spin up new features on the most important issues, aiming to inform, engage, and inspire our audience.

Under the mentorship of the VPN editor, you’ll manage a high-value portfolio of evergreen content, ensuring it remains current and aligns with our editorial best practices. You’ll also have the chance to broaden your skill set by contributing to our social media and video content.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Experience of writing for online audiences
  • Ability to explain complex subjects in a clear fashion
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent spelling and grammar
  • Ability to deliver copy to tight deadlines
  • A passion for all things cybersecurity and digital privacy
  • Experience writing about VPNs, antivirus, and digital privacy matters

The expected range for this role is £26,000 – £30,000

This is a Hybrid role from our London Paddington Office, working three days from the office, two from home
