If you’re a digital-savvy marketer with 2-5 years of experience in social media, content writing, and digital marketing, and an interest in tech and entrepreneurship, this could be the role for you!

We’re looking for a dynamic digital marketer to execute social media, content creation, and digital marketing efforts across Founders Forum Group’s events, businesses, partnerships and new ventures. As FF Group expands its offering to support more entrepreneurs at every stage of their journeys, we’re seeking a talented individual with a mastery of the English language, a passion for developing branded tones of voice, and a strategic mindset. This role will report to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute owned social media strategies across FFG social platforms (LinkedIn & Instagram)
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that aligns with FF Group’s brand and goals
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with our community, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Alongside the Marketing Manager, analyse social media performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimise engagement and reach
  • Contribute ideas to the social media and content repertoire – ensuring what and when we post is on-brand, fresh, new and innovative

Content Writing:

  • Craft compelling content for a variety of channels, including social media posts, blogs, newsletters, website copy, and press releases, decks, emails, event collateral
  • Develop key messaging for various FF Group initiatives, ensuring consistency in tone and style across all communications
  • Collaborate with team members to produce content that supports marketing campaigns, business launches, and events
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure high-quality, error-free deliverables

Digital Marketing:

  • Collaborate closely with our Editor, Marketing Manager and/or the Community team to maintain the FF website/event registration sites, ensuring it is up-to-date 
  • Work closely with the Content and Partnerships team helping to write email invites, design speaker decks, and ensure partner branding is accurate 
  • Use analytics tools to track the performance of digital marketing efforts, providing regular reports and insights to the Marketing Manager

Event Participation:

  • Attend and actively participate in FF Group events, supporting on-site activities and engaging with attendees
  • Travel may be required for various events, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist with community engagement during high-volume periods (pre-events)
  • Ongoing daily social media community management 
  • Collaborate closely with our partners to shape and share their messaging before, during, and following FF events
  • Compile earned media coverage reports and support the marketing manager with FF marketing reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis

This is the role for you if…

  • You are an excellent writer with a strong portfolio of content across various formats
  • You have experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram
  • You understand digital marketing best practices and have experience with social media management, strategy and execution
  • You are a strategic thinker who can analyse data and adjust strategies to improve performance
  • You are a clear and confident communicator, comfortable dealing with a number of stakeholders, internal and external, managing competing deadlines and remaining organised in a fast-paced working environment
  • You are a curious self-starter who begins by asking why – you take the time to understand the context of various projects before getting stuck in, then drive major results by independently connecting the dots and taking initiative
  • You have excellent time management skills and sharp attention to detail
  • You have experience writing on behalf of brands in different formats; including, marketing emails, and social media content
  • You have experience managing a website via a CMS such as WordPress or equivalent
  • You have a startup mentality; you’re a team player, dedicated and diligent
  • You have a can-do attitude, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives
  • You have an active interest in tech, startups, and entrepreneurship
  • You have exposure / experience with CRM platform like Salesforce 

Requirements:

  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to synthesise complex themes and ideas into concise copy
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in social media management, content writing, or digital marketing roles
  • Right to work in the UK
