You’ll write, edit, and publish technical content that helps data engineers, data scientists and developers learn about and use Quix to build streaming data applications efficiently.


We’re looking for a technical writer with a software developer background to join our rapidly growing team. You will:

  • Own the documentation tech stack and development process

  • Design and build solutions to automate and actively optimize our docs

  • Ensure documentation covers all aspects of the Quix portal, library, APIs and SDK in simple, developer appealing and easy-to-read English

  • Prepare screenshots, animated GIFs and videos and support design and layout

  • Support major product releases by writing technical descriptions for newsletters, blogs, announcements and press releases

  • Review, challenge and copy edit the content created by non-writers and drive best practices in technical writing with others

Job requirements

  • You have 3+ years of technical writing experience

  • You have a proven software engineering background with the ability to write and test code

  • You are comfortable reading Python and understanding what the code is doing

  • You enjoy working with developers and product owners to deliver quality documentation

  • You can write conceptual documentation, detailed integration guides, code samples. API reference, and other online materials in a developer-friendly language

  • You’re a native English speaker or have a C2 certificate

  • You are not afraid to speak your mind and you like to take ownership. You are determined to influence content, drive the documentation strategy, user experience, and tooling

  • You have a favourite documentation tech stack and are eager to implement it

Nice to have 

  • A deep understanding of the data industry and engineering tools

  • Experience developing with C# language

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
