Description

One of the world’s fastest-growing websites, Tom’s Guide upgrades your life by helping you decide what products to buy, showing you how to get the most out of them and solving problems as they arise. Tom’s Guide is here to help you accomplish your goals, find great products without the hassle and make purchases with confidence.

We’re looking for a Senior Editor, Homes to join the team and oversee all elements of the site’s growing homes and gardens channel. You’ll lead a team of three editors and writers and work with the UK Editor-in-Chief to bring a vision for the channel to the team, creating and overseeing a range of content.

What you’ll be doing…

There’ll also be a focus on maintaining and updating the authoritative buying guides that make Tom’s Guide one of the most trusted and useful consumer sites on the web.

You’ll also use social media to amplify this content to a wider audience, and take an active part in forward-planning and strategy for editorial and commercial projects (in both the United Kingdom and United States) and be expected to lead during busy periods of trading, such as Black Friday.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

  • In-depth knowledge of homes and smart home products and trends. Everything from robot vacuums to lawncare and interior decor.
  • Experience in a section editor role or similar on a website or magazine.
  • A proven ability to work online and an understanding of the needs it brings.
  • A working relationship with public relations professionals in the industry.
  • Good understanding of SEO and analytics.

What’s in it for you…
