Summary:

Working with a leading technology brand, this is a great opportunity for a hands-on writer who is looking to flex their creative storytelling and conceptual thinking skills, while writing for execution, and making an impact on brands from several different CPG categories.

A TPN Senior Copywriter is a vital contributor to their team. They create strong, smart work that’s confident, pushes to a higher standard, strategically sound, and of course, within brand guidelines.

    • Self-motivated, agile writer who’s a quick learner.

    • A great communicator, both written and verbal. Your copy is clear as day, and you’ve got the words to persuade us so.
    • Conceptual and strategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity and innovation with business objectives. Left brain, meet right brain.
    • Demonstrates passion, confidence, respect and empathy.
    • Fluent in both digital and traditional channels, having had experience writing for retail merchandising and point of sale, video storyboards, branding, and presentations of all shapes.
    • Ability to write across a variety of mediums and retail touchpoints
    • Excellent project and time management, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
    • Puzzle and problem solver, even when they’re not fully defined.
    • Plays well with others. Collaboration and teamwork aren’t just a buzz words for us.
    • Has the ability to take charge of every brainstorm, campaign development, and creative execution they come across.
    • Detail-oriented, with meticulous copy editing and proofreading skills — probably always found Waldo.

      • Ability to take an established brand with a unique voice and bring it to life in fresh, new and innovative ways.
      • Flex their creative muscles strategizing, brainstorming, concepting, collaborating, writing, presenting and editing copy — sometimes all in the same day.
      • Jump across channels, writing for a variety of assets, including brand concepts, videos, print, retail POS, seasonal concepts & campaigns, client presentations
      • Contribute to the development of new ideas and create polished, final deliverables whether working solo or with other creatives.
    • Communication skills
      • Has a voice and uses it. Communicating well with the team and effectively presenting creative concepts and copy to internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback to make the work stronger.
      • Breaking it down for everyone by producing clear, concise writing, which distills complex ideas into easily understood language.
      • Collaborate with a team of other creatives who are just as passionate and excited about the work. Working very closely with CD & ACDs on the team, as well as internal Account team
      • Must have good presentation skills – a storyteller who can command the attention of others to inspire and inform.
    • Organizational skills
      • Proactively manages their creative output through setting goals, managing timelines, and owning work through each project lifecycle—concept, development, refinement, execution– for all marketing and brand channels
      • Navigate briefs like a pro to understand and implement direction from creative team leads based on objectives, content strategy and brand positioning provided.
      • Advance the best thinking in line with the brief and project scope to develop creative platforms that deliver on strategic objectives.
    • Sound business and professional ethics

Requirements:

    • Experience: 5-7 years of copywriting in an agency environment
    • Education: Four-year degree
