We’re looking for an experienced tech reviewer with a passion for getting hands on with the latest products to lead our talented team of reviewers. You’ll be responsible for everything from planning reviews to be created by the team to editing reviews produced and ensuring they are best-in-class to developing test procedures and optimising existing reviews for discovery via organic search. In addition to leading the team to success you’ll be a ‘player manager’, contributing your own authoritative, well researched reviews in text, pictures and video form.

You’ll organize and carry out effective, objective tests of products, write detailed reviews of your findings and take original photos of the products you are reviewing, collaborate with photographers and videographers to create video versions of your review and the highest quality assets to accompany articles, be working closely with other teams in the business, including the affiliates team, audience development, and commercial teams, attend key industry events where required and establish strong industry contacts with leading companies to ensure we receive the latest products for review first

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

  • Experience of working for a busy, ambitious publishing company or similar.
  • Strong track record in product testing and reviews creation.
  • Experience of managing people or desire to learn management skills.
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to quickly learn and apply key skills.
  • Knowledge of the consumer technology industry, or a willingness to quickly learn.
  • Ability to transform complex information and industry jargon into plain English.
  • Exceptional research, analytical and comparison skills.
  • Ability to interpret data to inform content strategy.
  • Superb organisation and prioritisation skills, and the capacity to spin multiple plates at once.

What’s in it for you…

We have a number of awesome perks available to our staff. We offer huge opportunities to learn and develop, whether through professional qualifications, exposure to incredible business projects or informal lunch & learns, hosted by your colleagues. We have a fantastic culture where we really do care about our people and want everyone to succeed. Varied roles mean you’re not pigeonholed into one finite area but get the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and experience

And to top it all off, not only do we offer unlimited holiday because we trust you to manage your workload and time but we also offer a share in our success whereby every colleague is eligible to join our profit pool bonus scheme – if Future hits their performance targets all colleagues may receive a bonus.

* Internal job family level E5.

The expected range for this role is £29,000 – £35,000.

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
