The main function of a Researcher is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files. This team is seeking someone to assist with data entry, research, and documentation tasks to support the transition from an old tool to a new tool. All data entry and research tasks revolved around this web application are to ensure there is enough preset data available for users.

Job Responsibilities:

Researching open-source data on customers who are transitioning to Microsoft’s cloud.

Entering data from an old tool to a database that can be uploaded to a new web-based application.

Supporting documentation and data for briefing executives.

Participating in meetings with the product teams and the engineering organization.

Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology

Maintain records and files of work and revisions

Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication

Requirements:

2-4 Years’ Experience Required

Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Ability to read some programming code

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

2-3 years’ experience with MSFT 365 AND MSFT Office

2-3 years experience with data entry or database management

Type: Contract

Work Schedule: Hybrid (1-2 days onsite required)

Duration: 2+ Months
