Location: New York, US

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Salary: $65-75,000

We are looking for someone who is hungry for scoops, who will come in and hit the phones and get out to meetings to develop a network of sources. This is a new position to help drive forward the coverage of US private markets investment managers. Our readers are the biggest names in investment management.

You will be expected to break and understand exclusive intelligence about private equity and private credit. You will also become a true insider and expert with your finger on the pulse of who is growing and shrinking; hiring and firing. We also write sharp, data-driven analytic pieces which consistently uncover valuable information and actionable insights for our subscribers.

Based in New York, you will be working as part of our team of more than 70 asset management journalists across the globe. The private markets team is growing rapidly and is a key priority for strategic growth. We are eager to meet candidates with a B2B or Financial Journalism background.

We work under a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two days at home.


  • Writing daily news articles and regularly breaking off-diary stories
  • Pitch and write informed and insightful analytic pieces
  • Regularly interview key business names in US private markets
  • Build and maintain a contact book of senior industry professionals
  • Represent the With Intelligence brand at a range of events, conferences and summits


  • 1-2 years of relevant financial journalism experience with private markets coverage preferred.
  • Must be willing to work in our New York office
  • Journalism degree training preferable, but not essential
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in financial markets and willingness to learn
