If you are a Proposal Coordinator / Business Development Strategist with 4+ years experience and you worked on Drupal proposals, please read on!

Located in Toronto, Canada, we are a digital marketing firm with perfect solutions that finds our clients winning in their own industry. We are looking for a Proposal Coordinator! This position is REMOTE.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Analyze/interpret RFP requirements
  • Review and research information about prospective clients’ needs
  • See to the completion of the RFP response
  • Ensure RFP process is followed and timelines are defined and communicated
  • Liaise with multiple individuals internally
  • Serve as the master editor of proposals to convert contributors’ content into a cohesive document with a clear, single voice
  • Write proposal narratives, executive summaries and cover letters, ensuring the Firm’s brand and messaging is consistent
  • Assist in maintaining proposal content database and completed proposals
  • Ensure proposal materials are properly sourced and maintained
  • Work with the Development team to ensure they are able to provide the required deliverables required for each opportunity and hold them to their deliverable dates
  • Work with a Project Manager from the Development team to ensure that all deliverable concerns (i.e. schedule, scope, budget, etc.) are being delivered by them to round out the bid response.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Writing or Journalism
  • 4+ years’ experience as a business writer, preferred with 3-5 years as a proposal writer in a professional services firm
  • Experience in writing proposals for Drupal projects
  • Superior English writing skills: ability to communicate clearly, persuasively and effectively in the current business environment (no marketing-speak/jargon)
  • French is considered an asset
  • Exceptional research, editing and proofreading skills are essential
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to interact and collaborate with others to collect information needed for proposals
  • Self-starter with excellent project management skills: ability to prioritize tasks and track projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to collaborate successfully in a team environment
  • Stakeholder of the Firm: sincerely committed to helping the Firm succeed, demonstrated with a positive attitude
  • Flexible: as position, workload and expectations shift
