  • REMOTE Contract Job Opportunity based in Redmond, WA
  • PST Time Zone Required

Location: Remote (based in Redmond)

Pay: $30-$45

Description:

Working with Support team to identify support documentation and support cases. Candidate would drive products with projects in talking to customers, running processes that the team would need to run the business smoothly.

We’re seeking a dynamic technical writer with a knack for product/project management and sharp analytical abilities. This role involves diving into support cases to identify recurring user issues and devising strategies to streamline support requirements through enhancements to both public and internal documentation and troubleshooting guides.

  • Heavy on the Technical Writing side with Project Management as well.
  • Furthermore, we’re looking for someone who can swiftly immerse themselves in our technical product and play a pivotal role in executing previews, establishing demo environments, driving process innovation and learning initiatives, and fostering collaboration across various azure teams to produce comprehensive documentation.

We’re seeking a dynamic technical writer with a knack for product/project management and sharp analytical abilities. This role involves diving into support cases to identify recurring user issues and devising strategies to streamline support requirements through enhancements to both public and internal documentation and troubleshooting guides. In addition to this, the ideal candidate will be adept at prioritizing tasks, collaborating with project managers and developers to gather relevant information, and meticulously updating, reviewing, and publishing documentation.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience Technical Writing (Writing support tickets and working with that team)
  • 3-4 years of experience with Analytical experience (identify patterns in these cases)
  • 3-4 Years of experience Project Management Experience
  • 3-4 Years of experience Microsoft suite experience (SQL Databases, MSOffice, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Years of Experience Required : 3-4 Years of Previous Experience with Technical Writing, Project Management, and Technical Project
  • Degrees or certifications required: Computer Science background and degree is a huge plus
  • Disqualifiers: No Experience around technology or technological skills then candidate won’t be considered.
  • Best vs. Average: All the Must have hard skills.
  • Has a basic technological know how of technology and skills around that
  • The ideal candidate will be adept at prioritizing tasks, collaborating with project managers and developers to gather relevant information, and meticulously updating, reviewing, and publishing documentation.
  • Performance Indicators: Identifiable set of key results to achieve in a specific timeline (Example: writing high quality 50 self help discussions for the team or writing) It will be tangible on their performance
