Description

Education Perfect (EP) is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We aim to enable teachers to personalise learning at scale with a range of powerful learning, assessment, and insights tools, helping them and their students reach their full potential. 

For this contract-based role, we require Grade 8 Language teachers and Grade 9 English teachers to adapt lessons on the EP platform so they meet Specific Expectations B3.2 and B3.3. The lessons will meet our content quality standards and be aligned with specific Learning Goals and Success Criteria.

This opportunity might suit you if:

  • You have three years’ experience teaching the Ontario Curriculum for Language (Grade 8) or English (Grade 9).
  • You have experience writing robust educational resources for online use.
  • You have experience collaborating on, and applying actionable feedback to, written work.
  • You have excellent attention to detail, time-management skills and can meet deadlines
  • You have experience teaching English grammar or are TESL Canada certified (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • You are tech-savvy and have used online tools for visualising learning resources.
  • You can commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week from early December 2024 to late February 2025.

Employment will be contract-based and payment will be made per lesson adapted. You will be working across topics and grades using the suite of Google applications (Docs and Sheets) and project management software to track completion.
