We are seeking an experienced Marketing Copywriter/Editor with a minimum of 10 years of direct-to-consumer marketing experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product writing (specifically in financial services), demonstrating a proven track record of creating compelling, conversion-focused copy across various channels, including audio and video (TV, radio, podcasts, instructional video, etc.).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for diverse marketing materials, including website content, email campaigns, product descriptions, direct mail pieces/invitations, and advertising collateral.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and messaging strategies that resonate with our target audience and drive measurable results.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and optimization to ensure all copy is SEO-friendly and achieves high rankings in search engine results.
  • Write clearly and concisely to effectively highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points while maintaining brand voice and tone.
  • Craft compelling headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action that capture attention and drive customer engagement.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in copywriting, AI, search optimization and direct response marketing, integrating new strategies and techniques into our campaigns.


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a copywriter, specializing in direct-to-consumer marketing (financial services industry a plus).
  • Proven expertise in SEO copywriting, with a strong grasp of keyword research, on-page optimization, and content strategy.
  • Experience in writing for direct mail campaigns, including sales material, postcards, invitations, and promotional materials.
  • Exceptional writing skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to tailor messaging to audiences and channels.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a talent for generating fresh ideas that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Mac, Google Suite, and familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.


  • $68,000-$80,000 base salary
