Description

We are seeking a talented Medical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical knowledge, proficiency in medical terminology, excellent writing skills in English, and the ability to adhere to instructions and processes. The Medical Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality written content, including transcribing calls, interpreting medical records, and communicating complex medical information clearly and effectively.

  • Work Hours: Full-time, Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours
  • Salary: $1,200 per Month 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit medical content for the practice.
  • Transcribe calls accurately, ensuring all medical terminology and patient information are correctly documented.
  • Interpret medical records, patient charts, and information provided by healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with medical experts, researchers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and clarity of content.
  • Follow established guidelines, processes, and regulatory requirements for medical writing and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough research on medical topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Review and revise written materials to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare, medicine, and related fields to inform writing projects effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Strong medical knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Experience in medical writing, transcription, or related roles preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for medical writing (e.g., ICH-GCP, FDA regulations) is a plus.
