Masse is an SEO agency that turns startups into scale-ups. We work with ambitious tech companies across AI, SaaS, robotics, and other cutting-edge industries, building content campaigns that actually move the needle.
We use AI to enhance our workflows, not replace our team. This lets us scale content production while maintaining the quality and human insight that makes articles actually perform in search results.
The Role
You’ll be the quality control for our content machine. Every article we publish goes through you first. You’ll edit, fact-check, and polish content until it’s ready to outrank whatever’s sitting at #1 on Google.
Think of yourself as part detective, part wordsmith, part project manager. You’ll catch the details others miss, guide writers toward better work, and keep clients happy with regular updates.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Edit everything – Take rough drafts and turn them into articles that actually beat the competition
- Guide writers – Help them understand what works and what doesn’t
- Track progress – Update Asana, client sheets, whatever needs updating to keep projects moving
- Talk to clients – Answer questions, send updates in Slack, keep them in the loop
- Fact-check relentlessly – Verify stats, check links, make sure we’re not publishing nonsense
What We Need
- Native-level English: Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, and style.
- SEO knowledge with a strong understanding of on-page SEO principles, including keyword optimization and content structuring.
- Editing skills to improve readability, structure, and flow while maintaining the brand’s voice.
- Attention to detail is crucial for fact-checking, accuracy, and flawless grammar and punctuation.
- Adaptability to work across diverse topics, including technical and niche industries.
- AI content familiarity: Skilled at refining AI-generated content to make it engaging and human-like.
- Collaboration with writers, strategists, and clients to achieve shared content goals.
- Efficiency in managing tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
The Practical Details
Compensation: $3,000 per month, 5 days per week
Location: Fully Remote
Employment: Contract (Initial 3 months, with view to extend or make permanent)
Start Date: Immediate
