Job Description

At SaaS Labs, we are looking for an experienced Lead Content Strategist to join our Content function. You will work with leaders in the Marketing team to co-create and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand, target audience, and business objectives. This role requires a mix of creative and strategic thinking. Overall, this person will handle the creation, distribution, and marketing of various content. We’d like to think this role is an incredible opportunity to do truly impactful work, including elevating our company brand and building a powerful content engine.


  • You have 5+ years of experience in spinning up the right words and content for various formats – blog posts, email, video scripts, and social media content.

  • You have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.

  • You have preferably worked in the B2B tech space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Content Director to implement our content strategy – across platforms and formats, including podcasting, blogging, social media, and partnerships.

  • Develop a keen understanding of our target audiences and key personas, and become a subject matter expert over time.

  • Write original, high-quality articles for our blog and other industry publications.

  • Create and repurpose content for various formats, including social media and newsletters.

  • Manage work with a team of freelance writers and agencies as needed.

  • Measure and report on the performance and impact of our content efforts.

  • As part of the Marketing team, you will work closely with our Director of Content, Director of Demand Generation, marketers, designers, freelancers – and other teams, including Product, Sales, and Customer Success.


  • You should absolutely love writing, storytelling, and marketing.

  • You follow popular culture (memes, shows, slang, etc.) and understand US/global cultural contexts.

  • Analytical: You know how to (or are keen to learn how to) measure and report on the impact of your work, from page traffic to time spent.

  • Marketing software knowledge: You have experience with tools like HubSpot, SEMRush, Google Analytics, and Content Management Systems.

  • Proficiency in navigating social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Quora, X, Instagram, and Reddit.
