About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Grant Writer who can also provide administrative support—with a strong focus on research and documentation. This dual role is ideal for someone who is a strong writer, highly organized, and comfortable managing both the creative and operational sides of nonprofit or mission-driven work.
You will help identify funding opportunities, draft proposals, and support the day-to-day administrative needs of the team with tasks such as research, data entry, file organization, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Writing & Research
- Identify and research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources
- Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and progress reports
- Track deadlines, submission statuses, and reporting requirements
- Maintain a library of supporting documents, templates, and funding records
Administrative Support
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, and file organization
- Conduct research to support fundraising, marketing, or program efforts
- Assist in maintaining internal documentation, SOPs, and shared drives
- Support internal communications and meeting coordination
- Prepare reports, briefs, or summaries based on research or administrative activity
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a grant writer or related fundraising/writing role
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written English and professional communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful
Preferred But Not Required
- Familiarity with grant databases, such as Foundation Directory Online or Grants.gov
- Experience working with nonprofits, NGOs, or mission-driven startups
- Basic knowledge of budgeting or program development
This is a full time role
