Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and research skills, as well as experience in budgeting and program development. Responsibilities: – Research potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other sources – Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals that align with the organization’s goals and objectives – Collaborate with program managers to gather necessary information for grant proposals – Develop and maintain relationships with funders and grant-making organizations – Manage the grant application process, including tracking deadlines and submitting required documentation – Conduct thorough research to gather data and statistics to support grant proposals – Assist in the development of program budgets and financial reports – Proofread and edit grant proposals for accuracy and clarity – Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in grant writing Skills: – Strong writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive grant proposals – Proficiency in using Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising software – Experience in contract management and reporting requirements for funded projects – Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail – Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial report writing – Ability to conduct thorough research on funding opportunities and program development strategies – Familiarity with technical writing standards and guidelines – Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines This is a paid position.
