As the Manager of Content and Global Communication at an international sports brand, youll spearhead strategic content creation, ensuring brand communication aligns with our global vision. This role entails managing diverse content formats—web, email, SEO-based content, and campaigns—while overseeing remote writers, and ensuring consistency in messaging across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Content Strategy & Development: Craft and execute a content strategy in line with business goals. Lead editorial calendars for timely delivery of high-quality, engaging content, optimizing for SEO and global reach.
  •  Content Creation & Optimization: Manage a wide range of content blogs, web copy, EBCs, PDPs, social posts, ad copies, newsletters, product launch materials ensuring they’re on-brand, concise, SEO-optimized, and designed for user engagement. Oversee meta descriptions, video scripts, and proofreading for grammar, tone, and accuracy.
  •  Collaboration & Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with a creative team writers, designers, translators to produce targeted content for multilingual and global campaigns. Coordinate cross-departmentally to align content with marketing, sales, and product initiatives.
  •  Content Distribution: Ensure content is effectively distributed across key platforms—social media, emails, websites, and more. Monitor performance metrics for engagement and conversions, iterating content strategies based on data insights.
  •  Project Management: Oversee timelines for all content development, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines. Delegate tasks effectively to remote writers and team members.
  •  Brand Consistency & Market Awareness: Maintain consistent voice, style, and tone across all global communication channels. Stay updated with trends in sports and marketing industries, ensuring content innovation remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Master’s is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, strategy, or management, with experience in managing teams and large-scale content projects.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools, WordPress management, and basic HTML/CSS to enhance web content.
  • Strong leadership in managing remote writers and cross-functional teams.
  • Editing, proofreading, and content development across various formats. Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous for global communication.
