AECOM is seeking a Copywriter to be based in Manila, Philippines

The role is primarily responsible to provide copywriting services across a spectrum of internal and external communication channels. This includes supporting key priorities and initiatives that help strengthen the engagement of employees, existing and potential clients, media, and broader audiences, with AECOM’s brand and work.

  • Develop content for a spectrum of internal and external communications such as announcements, posters, digital campaigns, employees/client newsletters, social media posts, website, marketing brochures, reports, qualifications, and project sheets
  • Produce high-quality copies in compliance with AECOM’s style, language, and tone
  • Proof-read and edit marketing collaterals, executive emails, speeches, proposals and presentations, video subtitles, and translations for internal and external distribution
  • Desk research to source and validate content, and to identify opportunities to differentiate and strengthen AECOM brand
  • Participate in discussions on project requirements and seek approval from key stakeholders on projects for publication
  • Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute specialized expertise and provide key updates to manager on project status
  • Contribute to various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity
  • Escalate issues and recommend resolutions and alternatives to manager
  • May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English, Business, Professional Writing, or a closely related discipline or equivalent experience in communications or writing in a professional services environment
  • At least 4 years of written communication experience, preferably one that deals with business and marketing in a corporate environment
  • Portfolio that demonstrates strong written communication skills and ability to create content in the tone, style, and language aligned with the brand
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Tools specifically Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in using various social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and WeChat
  • Experience in taking assignment briefs, following processes, and procedures
