We are currently seeking a Director of Content (Video/Written) to join our team and lead our content creation efforts, focusing on our brand of products, including Blueridge. The Director of Content (Video/Written) will be responsible for the full lifecycle of content creation, including developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy for both video and written materials. This role involves overseeing the production of informative videos and written documents that enhance customer engagement, provide valuable information, and strengthen our brand presence in the market. The position includes travel for video production.

Video Content Creation:

  • Develop and oversee the production of engaging and informative videos, including FAQs, product and brand comparisons, installation guides, and feature highlights.
  • Manage on-location video production, which includes travel to various sites as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to identify key content areas and messages.
  • Manage the video production process from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with brand guidelines.

Written Content Development:

  • Oversee the creation and updating of written documents for Blueridge products, such as installation instructions, sales sheets, and specification sheets.
  • Develop and manage the creation of articles for Alpine’s learning centers, focusing on SEO optimization to enhance online visibility and engagement.
  • Ensure all written content is accurate, user-friendly, and aligns with brand voice and standards.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of content creators, including writers, videographers, and editors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content strategy with overall business goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and other content partners as needed.

Content Strategy and Analytics:

  • Develop a content strategy that supports brand objectives and customer needs.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content creation and distribution.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in content creation and strategy, with a focus on video and written content.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a content creation team.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability for a hybrid role of remote + Louisville office + travel for video production.
