At Klick, the expanding Content Strategy team is responsible for ensuring upstream strategic thinking is executed in a cohesive, consistent way through content and messaging, often across different platforms. Working closely with clients and collaborating with multiple internal teams, we help build the foundation upon which awesome omnichannel experiences are created.

We’re looking for a Content Strategy craft leader who is passionate about both delivering awesome work and building the craft. Being an innovative and highly entrepreneurial agency, Klick is seeking a self-starter who is eager to build relationships across the organization to heighten awareness of the craft while forging new capabilities.

While this is a craft lead role, it also involves leading project work for clients. This means you’ll collaborate closely with our UX, Strategy, Creative, SEO, Client Services, and Project Management teams. You’ll also have the full support of your team of Content Strategists and the Experience Design team within which it resides, which also includes CX and UX practitioners. If you have the expertise to collect research, data, and insights from multiple disciplines to build strategic content plans for omnichannel strategies, in addition to a passion to evolve the craft, then you could be the next leader to join the team at Klick Health.  

We offer a flexible remote and in-person working environment but ideally you’re not too far from one of our offices in Toronto, New York, or Philadelphia.

Here’s what you can expect to do on the job:

- Help build the craft! Define Content Strategy capabilities, processes, and methodologies that bring value to Klick and our clients
- Champion and advocate for Content Strategy while informing how to best integrate the offering into Klick’s ecosystem of crafts
- Mentor and coach Content Strategists on your team and shepherd their careers at Klick
- Provide Content Strategy thought leadership at a portfolio level on client work
- Lead and deliver Content Strategy project work, delegating where appropriate
- Design, organize, and facilitate in-person and remote workshops and presentations on both the craft and client work


- Preferred Location: Toronto
- 6–8+ years experience in a Content Strategy leadership role
- Successful track record building and/or evolving the Content Strategy craft in an agency setting
- Experience mentoring and coaching other Content Strategists
- Deep expertise in the craft of Content Strategy: content audits, journey mapping, omnichannel content planning (as well as individual CRM, website and Social projects), narrative builds, and workshop planning & facilitation
- Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines and vendors
- Experience with stakeholder management and stakeholder interviews
- Demonstrated knowledge of applying SEO and website/CRM analytics to Content Strategy recommendations
- Experience working in healthcare, health tech, or pharmaceuticals
- NOTE: While Content Strategy does not execute copywriting, a copy background is considered a strong asset

- Empathetic & Kind: You look after your teammates and advocate on their behalf, practice radical candor, and keep them accountable to high standards
- Agile: You have a bias towards action, and are eager to contribute to furthering the mission for both Klick and the craft
