Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our Didactic Sector team in Lisboa, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and effective technical documentation.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, online help systems, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create engaging and informative content.
  • Analyze complex technical information and translate it into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Create visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and screenshots to enhance understanding.
  • Ensure consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all documentation.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and instructional design.
  • Participate in content review processes and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update existing documentation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in creating user manuals, online help systems, and training materials.
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Ability to create clear and effective visual aids (diagrams, charts, etc.).
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
