Job Description

As a Creative Copywriter, you will develop original and engaging copy for various campaigns, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with in-house designers and media producers to generate fresh ideas aligned with brand strategies. Your role will involve championing brand voice and style guidelines while contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.

 

The Creative team is responsible for creating and maintaining all visual and written marketing assets at Vectorworks. They uphold and modernize the brand’s image, even influencing software design.

 

During this Role You Will:

  • Create original and compelling copy for campaigns and experiences across multiple mediums.

  • Write, edit, and proofread shorter form copy for advertising, websites, email campaigns, video scripting, etc.

  • Ensure consistency across all touch points while executing within the brand strategy.

  • Advocate for brand voice and style guidelines with clear and distinct messaging

  • Actively participate in conceptual brainstorms, team and project meetings

  • Generate creative ideas in tandem with in-house designers and media producers that align with brand strategies.

 

Here Is What Success Looks Like:

  • Prior advertising copywriting experience in an agency or in-house setting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; spelling and understanding of grammar are essential to the role.

  • A conceptual thinker who embraces challenges and new methods of thinking

  • Non-stop curiosity and desire to improve on yourself and our output.

  • Ability to manage and contribute to numerous projects simultaneously.

  • A compelling portfolio that demonstrates great ideas across multiple mediums within a variety of campaigns and projects.

 

A Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, English, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation:

Annual base salary of 55,000-65,000 USD. Eligible for company performance bonuses.

Salary offer is determined by evaluation of candidate skills and experience during the interview process based on the criteria outlined in the job advertisement above.
