Creativity.

What do those three words have in common? They’re the tenants of what could be your new job with us at Wasserman.
We’re looking for an intermediate creative team who are over the traditional agency BS and ready to take their careers to the next level.

Full stop: this is an opportunity to produce breakthrough creative work for huge clients in the worlds of sports, music, and entertainment.

In this role, you will report the Creative Director but also work seamlessly with strategy, content, and account teams across our consulting, experiential, talent, and creative verticals as required. You will be encouraged to break boundaries on a project-to-project basis, stimulated by several creative opportunities across all Wasserman Canada accounts, most likely within the sports and entertainment landscape.

This journey will only be made possible through a relentless commitment to quality of thinking and of execution. You will be responsible for the delivery of fresh, evocative, and persuasive creative strategy, setting the strategic foundation for all Wasserman Canada creative output, and ultimately, ensuring executional success with our clients.

What You Will Do.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, team-oriented environment aligned to Wasserman’s inclusive company culture and values.
  • Be responsible and accountable for boundary-pushing creative ideas for our clients
  • Help raise the standards of our creative work
  • Translate data and insight-led briefs into unexpected creative ideas
  • Monitor ongoing creative trends within sports, music, lifestyle and entertainment, and produce proactive ideas based on them
  • Have a team-first, ego-less attitude and excitement to be joining us at a time of excitement and inspiration

Requirements

What We’re Looking For.

  • 3+ years experience as a copywriter and idea generator
  • A love of culture – especially a passion for sports, as well as music and entertainment
  • An enthusiastic, thoughtful teammate – a change agent with endless optimism.
  • Someone who loves a problem, and more importantly, trying to solve it.
  • A drive to be great – both as a human and as a creative
  • A self-starter: you are excited to bring thoughts and ideas forward even if they aren’t for an existing brief
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to sell through big integrated creative ideas, internally and externally.
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in sports, music, and entertainment are beneficial.
