We are looking for a Copywriter to join the brand marketing team to work across Jenni Kayne, Jenni Kayne Home, and Oak Essentials. As the Copywriter at Jenni Kayne, you are the key voice of our brand and an essential part of our team, crafting marketing and product copy across our digital platforms, printed collateral, internal communications, and special projects. This highly creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented position requires strong operational and communication skills to work closely across our internal teams and manage a compelling and consistent brand voice.

Role and Responsibilities::

  • Provide copy for creative materials to be used across all brand touchpoints including website, blog, email, direct mail, social media, events, presentations, and retail.
  • Partner with the VP of Brand & Product Marketing to craft high-level campaign and brand copy to be used as a blueprint for brand narrative.
  • Implement established voice and tone guidelines to ensure brand communication is consistent, cohesive, and rooted in performance.
  • Partner with the digital marketing team on copy for paid ads and affiliate marketing content, ensuring all communications are optimized for company goals.
  • Responsible for delivering product and website copy that is engaging and performance-minded.
  • Actively participate in team brainstorms and present on relevant copy-related topics to ensure we’re always current and on-brand.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience copywriting in DTC retail, preferably in the luxury fashion, home, and/or beauty space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail and brand voice.
  • Ability to craft performance-driven copy across all channels and iterate on copy to ensure goals are being met.
  • Strategic, conceptual, and innovative thinker with a drive to work across teams and bring new ideas to push content and copy forward.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and implement feedback.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for luxury lifestyle brands and a strong aesthetic sensibility.
  • This is a hybrid role, which will require an employee to be in the office 2-3 per week.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000. The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
