We’re looking for a Copywriter who is an expert in the digital performance marketing space. You have experience writing for email, all the major social channels, YouTube ads, display banners, and landing pages. You’re comfortable working with startups that need help finding their voice and also know how to navigate 100 page brand guidelines that have direction down to the punctuation mark. You know how to execute technically but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. You’re a creative through and through. Random spurts of inspiration hit you and leave you surrounded by scribbled notes. Browsing trends and staying current are just part of your everyday. You see the joy in opportunities to create a better brand experience through the written word and the big ideas that accompany those witty social ads or long form email campaigns. You’ll join our highly skilled but unpretentious creative team and work on D2C clients in a variety of verticals from start up combat sports brands to vegan home goods. Our team comes from all walks of life (literally and figuratively, we’re fully remote.) We bring the vibes and nothing gets us more hype than an idea becoming reality and watching the numbers soar from our creativity combined with strategy. Does this sound like you? – You’re a creative and an ideator – You can work with speed and deliver a high volume – The written, spoken, visualized word is your passion – You might even call yourself a storyteller – You know the best work comes from collaboration – You hear “thumb-stopping” and immediately know what’s up – The internet doesn’t control you but you do know the value of being in the loop with the latest trends in the digital landscape – You like a good challenge – You thrive with autonomy – You understand that copywriting is not the holy grail of creativity, it takes a team to bring great ideas to life Responsibilities – Ideate from a pov that’s intertwined with relevant trends and what’s happening in the world of your brands verticals and consumers – Collaborate with Designers, Art Directors, Creative Directors, Account Executives, and Strategist to help bring ideas to life – Write from a brands tone and voice to deliver copy that speaks to the consumer in an on brand way – Tap into emotional connection with your words to create engaging and impactful content – Ad Copy for various digital platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Search – Copy for landing pages that works within CRO best practices – Copy for email campaigns, both flow and calendar sends – Honing in brand voice for startups and established brands alike – Scripts for storyboards – Expert in best practices for copywriting across all of the above – Creative thinking for large scale brand campaigns all the way down to singular ad units Qualifications – 3+ years of experience writing for digital performance marketing – Strong portfolio of a variety of work – Grammar expert (I’m sure you’ve already noticed mistakes in this post) – Time management skills and the ability to time track from a place of understanding our business needs not micromanaging – Flourishes in a collaborative environment but also strong willed and able to work independently – Ability to give and take constructive criticism – Fast turnaround times don’t mean you sacrifice quality – You can easily switch between multiple brand voices in any given day – You understand brand and creative strategy and how to marry them into performance driving executions – Passionate about bringing ideas to life through writing Compensation – Competitive salary – Healthcare – 401k – Unlimited PTO
