Our team is looking for a Coordinator, Social Media Marketing anywhere in Canada on a 12-month contract basis working 35 hours per week. The impact you will have:

The Coordinator, Social Media Marketing develops content for social media channels with a focus on video content creation, to increase engagement, build brand awareness, and drive conversions (e.g. registrations, donations) for MS Canada across target audiences. This role directly influences the way Canadians recognize, support, and engage with MS Canada to drive forward the mission of a world free of MS. 

Key Areas of Impact:

  • Develops written and video content for social media channels to increase engagement and build brand awareness of MS Canada across target audiences. 
  • Collaborates with internal and external MS community members to ensure content is innovative, informative, and ideal for social media channels. 
  • Tracks and reports content performance to regularly provide the team with recommendations to achieve marketing goals. 
  • Monitors, engages, and responds to social media inquiries via social monitoring platform. 

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has a university degree or college diploma and at least 2 years of experience developing, creating and reporting on social media content
  • Demonstrates the  ability to write and adapt content for various social platforms, maintaining brand voice,
  • Has experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn,
  • Has the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal colleagues and external community members,
  • Has outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail,
  • Has experience monitoring social media channels and responding to comments and direct messages in a timely and appropriate manner,
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team, solve problems, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects at the same time,
  • Is comfortable reaching out to community members via social media, email, or phone/video call for interview purposes.
  • Takes initiative on projects, contributes to new content ideas, and stays on top of emerging social media trends.
  • Has knowledge and/or experience with vertical video creation technology, content development; analytics technology, such as Google Analytics. 
  • Is bilingual in French and English (considered an asset) for business purposes across Canada.
