We are the Employee Enablement Solutions Team (EES) in Corporate IT, where we champion the technology needs of our Visa staff. Our mission is to drive exceptional quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of services to our users and business functions. Our vision is to evolve faster than the challenges, fill gaps that are yet unknown, and not only see around walls but knock them down. We have an exciting new position for a Content Writer.

We are looking for a hardworking professional who will oversee intranet content, ensuring it equips employees with the information they need to adopt various tools and technologies to stay productive. This role involves maintaining the content’s quality, accuracy, and visual design consistency.

Essential Functions

  • Write, edit, and publish engaging content related to employee tools and tech processes on the company’s intranet.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand and accurately represent technology tools and processes in the content.
  • Assist in maintaining the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of the intranet content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their content needs and deliver accordingly.
  • Monitoring site analytics, user engagement and feedback to improve the content.
  • Maintain sound information architecture (site navigation).
  • Liaise with the site development team on special projects and technical issues.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
-2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
-3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
– Demonstrated proficiency in technical content creation, writing, editing, and publishing
– Experience with utilizing content management systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager.
– Familiarity with employee tools and tech processes within a corporate setting
– Strong attention to details and commitment to producing high-quality work
– Keen focus on the user experience and alignment to broader business strategies
– Ability to comprehend and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content
– Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritize the tasks to complete the various projects
– Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing content
– Knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics would be beneficial
– Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Ability to stay updated with intranet trends and industry standards
– Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite is required
– Strong English verbal and written communication skills
