Fervor is looking for a Content Writer (some places call them Copywriters) to join our team – a team that uses our trade for the most good possible. Part content writer, part social media strategist, this role will ensure we keep the brand voices of our clients clear and vibrant through all their communication efforts.

Here’s the short story. The ideal person for this position will understand how to clearly communicate through written words, maintaining excellence in the quality of writing/editorial work. They will be collaborative, insightful, and driven by results, acting as a creator of both long form and short form content as we work alongside our clients to maximize their brands’ impact.

TOPLINE

  • This role reports directly to Fervor’s Creative Director.

CONTENT CREATION

  • Ensure content is consistent and compelling across delivery streams, leveraging the unique requirements and best practices of various communication channels (websites, social media, blogs, email, direct mail, print collateral, etc.)
  • Serve as primary writer on assigned client accounts, writing and editing content for multiple formats
  • Ensure content maximizes SEO for all digital content

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Serve as social media strategist for assigned client partners to help create social content that drives growth
  • Present social-related strategy to clients and facilitate ongoing discussion about topics, creative approaches, and thematic elements
  • Implement client content and social plans, ensuring high quality content is developed and delivered on time and within budget for each client
  • Collaborate closely with Fervor’s creative team to ensure a tight integration of design and writing, tonally and in message clarity, across all social channels

Education

  • Bachelor’s-level degree in communication, journalism, or related field; or commensurate professional experience
  • 6 or more years of experience in communication, journalism, or marketing
