Job Description

State Fund‘s Corporate Communication department has an immediate opening for an experienced Content Manager who will be instrumental in defining and executing our strategic communication plans across all channels.

This position may be filled at one of the following State Fund locations: Bakersfield, Fresno, Glendale, Pleasanton, Riverside, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, Santa Ana, San Diego, Stockton or Vacaville.

Telework may be available and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs. Candidates must reside in California to be eligible for this appointment.

Primary Functions Include:

  • State Fund’s storytelling strategy across a mix of asset channels, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • managing, and collaborating on different types of content including intranet, company website, social media, press releases, and video.
  • and implementing process improvements through research, gap analysis, and new tools and technologies.
  • measurements and tracking results for content across multiple channels.
  • editing, and proofreading content created by other writers; provide detailed feedback and coaching when necessary.

  • a talented creative writer who understands: B2B marketing campaigns, SEO, and organic social media best practices.
  • digital technologies and tools, including cloud, web, AI, and software applications.
  • an advanced understanding of analytics and querying—e.g., google analytics and intranet data analysis.
  • a relationship builder at all levels of the organization with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys collaboration and values diversity.
  • proven writing, fact checking, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
  • with MS Office – Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • detail oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and scheduling skills.
  • working on multiple projects and adaptable to change.

SALARY: $7,068 – $8,783 per month depending on experience
