Parallax is looking for a Marketing & Community Manager to own and absolutely crush our broader content strategy. We are looking for someone who will think broadly about the content strategy to incorporate video and social media along with traditional blog, product, and webinar content.

We are seeking a creative and strategic Content & Community Manager to own our broader content strategy and engage our target audience with a modern approach to content marketing. As our Content & Community Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Refine our tone of voice to be human, fun, and knowledgeable with a an attitude and perspective that sets us apart from our competitors.
  • Partner with internal SMEs and external content creators to orchestrate the broader content plan 
  • Spearhead video production and create social media content to drive in-app engagement.
  • Plan and create organic social media content to drive engagement and be an active part of our community.
  • Create SEO-focused blog content and optimize formatting to improve search rankings.
  • Create product content, including demos and knowledgebase articles.
  • Optimize and expand our YouTube channel and YouTube advertising
  • Optimize the content experience on getparallax.com.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to create impactful headlines and ad language for lead generation.
  • Own the webinar content plan in partnership with internal and external SMEs. 
  • Partner with thought leaders, communities, and adjacent technologies on co-marketing opportunities.
  • Occasionally write press releases to promote our latest offerings and company news
  • Produce sales and BDR enablement content for all stages of the marketing and sales funnel. 
  • Engage with customers to create a community, and develop case studies, testimonials, and review site reviews. 
  • Get close to the industry and thoroughly understand our personas to drive engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, video production, and social media.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience with SEO best practices, website analytics, and CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with video editing software and a willingness to learn new tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in content marketing.
